Each year 30 middle school students receive a Presidential Achievement Award. The students who are given this recognition receive a Presidential certificate, a letter from President Obama and a commemorative pin. Recipients are the top ten students from the first three marking periods of the school year. Following are the students who have received this academic recognition in 2012:

Grade 6: Savannah Wujastyk, Ashley Siperek, McKenzie Rider, Marissa Booth, Madison Jaspersen, Nicholas Ricketts, Caryn Miller, Tomara Bowen-Collateta, Bailey Rottenberger, Sophie McKenzie.

Grade 7: Lauren Harvey, Kayla Kovacs, Tiffany Nary, *April Klusek, *Brianna Marsh, Courtney Sherwood, Hunter Skye, Tatum White, Nathan Morris, Meagan Martin. *Denotes Tie.
