3rd,
4th and 5th grades: I
previewed approximately 50 new library books to
all grade-levels. I book-talked many of the new
titles, choosing grade-level appropriate books
to each of the different grade levels. There are
a wide variety of new books, both non-fiction
and fiction, including books by and about Native
Americans, all kinds of science-related books,
many genres of fiction chapter books and picture
books, folktales, and lots of new biographies.
The kids are very excited about these books and
they are already being checked out by many
students.
