Welcome from the Principal: Mr. Donnald G. Hensel
Greetings and welcome to another exciting school year! As the principal, I am pleased to have the opportunity to work with your family in helping your child begin their journey towards becoming a life-long learner. Speaking for the entire Prospect Elementary School staff, we look forward to helping your child get a great start with their primary level education.
The Prospect Elementary School staff has received extensive training in teaching reading skills to students. Through our Reading First program and early literacy instruction, we try to ensure that each and every student becomes a successful reader. We believe that by taking a comprehensive school-wide approach to teaching early literacy and reading, in conjunction with your efforts at home, your child will have a solid foundation for the future.
We also look forward to having contact with you as a vital part of your child’s education. Through ongoing two-way communication we are confident that we can solve concerns as partners working to help each student to grow and develop the skills necessary to be good learners and good school citizens.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have. You are welcome to email me at email@example.com or call my office at 945- 5170 extension 7126.
Best wishes for a great school year!
