Thank You to Cathy Lacy
for her many years of hard work and dedication to the
Salamanca School District.
She will surely be missed, not only by her colleagues, but by her students as well.
The Art Curriculum for Prospect School grades K-2 encompasses a wide variety of experiences to encourage individual personal expression. The children begin to gain an understanding of the many ways Art is related to human knowledge and experience. Through the art media they learn how to express their ideas and feelings. By studying art history, the children will discover how art can reflect an artists culture. The children learn how art is connected to other subject areas such as geography, social studies, science, English (literature), math, music, and performing arts.
