PARENT INVOLVEMENT

It would be nearly impossible to run a complete educational program without the parents' dedication to their child's learning.  It is the support that parents provide outside the regular school day that often means the difference between success and failure.  Your commitment to read, supervise homework, check book bags, and encourage your child is invaluable to your child.  Our Volunteer Program offers a unique opportunity for parents and community members to become involved during the school day and during the extended day programs.  Please feel free to contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Mary Haley, to set up a time to enroll at 945-2400 ext. 410.

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES

A very important part of our reporting system is the parent-teacher conference. The teachers will schedule a minimum of one conference during the school year. You will have an opportunity to sign-up for your conference during Open House, or you may call the office to set up a convenient time. If you are unable to attend at the scheduled time, please call us during school hours so that the teacher can reassign the conference time to another parent. The first conference is scheduled in November, however, if you feel a need to meet before then, please let the teacher know and a conference time can be arranged.

PETS

Pets are not to be on school property.  Please keep your pets at home.  If you have made special arrangements with the building administrator, a pet may be allowed if its presence is part of an educational program experience.  Thank you for your understanding.
