Congratulations to Kwanita Jimerson and Eva Marks for winning the 8th grade’s scary story writing competition! Their story about “Luci”, a mischievous young girl whose ghost inhabits a home, was judged to be the most terrifying tale from the Class of 2018. Congratulations, ladies!
On Friday, October 25th, Prospect staff members took astand to show the students that being Responsible, Safe and Respectful is notonly a choice, but a life style. Staff decided to "wear red" to represent saying"no to drugs". The purpose waswell served as students asked questions throughout the day and it was anexcellent opportunity for students to see the staff as a united team. This message was integrated into the safetycurriculum that has been occurring in the classrooms regarding "safe, responsible choices". Students wereencouraged to engage in discussions with the peers in their classrooms todetermine how to make good choices and how to work together to say"no". As our motto goes"BEE Responsible, Respectful and Safe. Let's make Prospect a better place!"
