UPK morning and afternoon classes performed a variety of songs for their families on Tuesday, June 5, as part of their Celebration Day. The children were very excited to perform and happy to be done with rehearsals. The assembly began with the Pledge of Allegiance, each child holding a U.S. flag, which were generously provided by the American Legion. The songs were ones which the children had learned throughout the year, some associated with various seasons: ABC’s, Two Little Apples, Little Red Apple, Wheels on the Bus, Jack-o-Lantern, Chubby Little Snowman, Chicken Dance, Plant a Seed, Five Spring Flowers, Rainbows Rock, The World is a Rainbow, and Celebration Day. They ended with Good-Bye, as a hug was passed from child to child, down the line. Thank you Miss Ellen, Miss Mary Kay, and Miss Brenda for such a lovely program. The Class of 2025 is on their way!
