Mrs. Hoffmann and Mrs. Packard
Mrs. Hoffmann and Mrs. Packard will once again be co-teaching in the 2018-2019 year. Both teachers bring excitement, rigor, and challenges to the students and to the lessons. Students in Mrs. Hoffmann and Mrs. Packard's co-teaching classrooms can expect to learn through a variety of ways, including but not limited to: working in large and small groups, working on team challenges, engaging in debates, and making various presentations to the groups. Students will also have the opportunity to work in smaller settings by being randomly placed in Mrs. Hoffmann and Mrs. Packard's classrooms for different activities and lessons each week and will participate in various activities in a smaller setting to focus on a deeper understanding of the text or lesson. Having both teachers in the classroom will allow students the opportunity to garner the experience and support from two teachers who both are experts on the content area, who both recognize and will assist with the need for independent study skills, who will both assist all students during faster pacing of instruction, and who both understand high stakes testing and high school competency exams. Students will be fully supported in a number of aspects in these co-teaching classrooms.
