Miss Elise Sielski

  • Hello and welcome to my page! I am so excited to be a member of Salamanca's school community for my second year this year! I am one of the reading teachers for grades four through six. I will provide reading support to Seneca Intermediate's students in their regular classes as well as taking them in small groups. I am looking forward to getting to know all of my students and helping them learn and grow as readers!

I attended St. John Fisher College and received my Bachelors degree in childhood and special education. After Fisher, I attended Canisius College and earned a Masters in Literacy.  Directly after earning my Masters degree, I was hired at Port Byron CSD, a rural district outside of Syracuse, NY. I was a reading specialist for grades one through six for two years.  While I enjoyed my time at Port Byron, I desired to move closer to home, which led me to Salamanca.

I have a wonderful mother, brother, and sister as well as the silliest dog I know, Toby. I enjoy spending as much time with my family and friends as I can. Some of my hobbies include reading, drawing/crafting, and exploring Buffalo and Salamanca! I look forward to a wonderful year with you!
