The first Student of the Month for November is an 8th grader that comes in every day to all of their classes with a positive attitude, is prepared, and is always ready to learn.  They work their hardest and is always open to help and suggestions from teachers. 

The 11th grade Student of the Month is a person who is continually striving for perfection and is an exemplary student.  They are always on time for class, is always prepared, and always completes their assignments ahead of time with maximum effort.  Despite their rigorous courseload, they are always smiling and is ready to take on the challenge of the day.  They see the value of being challenged to improve their academic knowledge. 

The first Student of the Month for December is an 8th grader.  They earned their spot on the honor roll by consistently staying on top of their academics in addition to playing sports.  They strive to continually improve and edit their work, which shows their excellence as a learner.  They are also very easy to work with in the classroom.  The first Student of the Month for December is Jack Merrill.

The first Student of the Month is an 8th grader.  Their thoughtful and gentle nature complements their hard work in the classroom.  They are the first to offer another student some assistance or clarification, and always has a kind word.  Academically, they enjoy challenging themselves in Honors classes and isn’t afraid to ask questions to further their understanding.  The first Student of the Month for January is Paloma Haas.

The second Student of the Month is a pair of students.  The two of them are always the first to arrive to their media class for morning announcements.  Whether they are assigned to the Warrior Wake-up crew or not, they immediately go into the studio and help set up for the announcements.  Doing this helps their teacher immensely and their help is greatly appreciated.  Both students enjoy their part in the Warrior Wakeup and they always participate with a smile and a positive attitude.  The second Students of the Month for January are Owen Kranock.

The last Student of the Month is a senior.  They are exemplary in every aspect of character, hard work, talent, and responsibility.  They are an amazing young woman and deserves every award.  The last Student of the Month for January is Karina Crouse.

The second February Student of the Month is a junior with a very rigorous courseload.  They approach their studies with a tenacity that is unique among high school students.  They are always prepared for class and is always smiling and ready to embrace the challenges of the day.  They are involved in school sports and activities, and is constantly striving for self-improvement.  The second Student of the Month for February is Ryanna Brady.

The second Student of the Month is a 10th grader whose grades for the first marking period were near perfect.  They maintained a 97% or higher in all of their classes, and they have perfect attendance with no unexcused tardies so far this school year.  Even though they are new to the school, they have quickly become a leader and have demonstrated tremendous character and work ethic.  They are respectful in every way and is a model student-athlete for their peers. 

The last Student of the Month is a 12th grader who is an exceptional student that never complains about a task.  They are a true warrior who overcomes their own weaknesses and inspires others.  They always walk the Warrior way.  They are a role model both inside the classroom and in the Salamanca community. 

The second Student of the Month for December is a senior who works hard in the classroom and on the court.  They work really hard in school to maintain their athletic eligibility, while still helping their peers in class and in sports.  The second Student of the Month for December is Lily Bryant.

The third Student of the Month is a Junior who always participates fully in science class and pursues science endeavors outside of class.  They are always on time and always complete their homework.  They help their classmates learn and are hard-working.  The third Student of the Month for January is Emily Benjamin. 

The first February Student of the Month is a senior that was in the Top 10 for the 2nd quarter in addition to being on the Boys Varsity basketball team.  They show self-discipline to complete all of their assignments and also understands the importance of being on time.  They are one of the most coachable kids their coaches have ever had, and has improved tremendously in the last 2 years.  They show up every day with a willingness to learn, they never make excuses, and they always hold themself accountable.  The first Student of the Month for February is Ashton Austin.
