Salamanca City Central School District is excited to introduce Stopfinder, a smartphone app designed to enhance communication and keep families informed with the most up-to-date information about their student’s bus schedule.
We successfully piloted Stopfinder this summer with families whose children were enrolled in our Extended School Year (ESY) programs. Beginning August, the app will be available to all district families—just in time for the start of the school year.
What is Stopfinder?
Stopfinder is an easy-to-use, all-in-one app that gives parents and guardians access to the most accurate transportation information anytime, anywhere.
Key Features Include:
Real-Time Bus Schedule – View the latest information about your student’s bus schedule, including stop time changes or significant delays.
GeoAlerts – Set personalized notifications to alert you when the bus arrives or departs from specific locations, such as your student’s assigned stop or their school.
Getting Started with Stopfinder
The primary contact email address on file with the district will be used to send your Stopfinder invitation.
You may receive a separate invitation for each student in your household.
All invitations can be linked to the same Stopfinder account, so you only need one login.
After downloading the app and creating your account, you’ll be able to view up-to-date transportation details for each of your students in one convenient location.
