At the June 2 Board of Education meeting District officials gave a detailed outline of the 2020-2021 school year budget proposal. It includes a NO LEVY TAX Impact and no reductions in program or staffing (view the above video for more information).
All registered voters in the Salamanca City Central School District should have received an Absentee Ballot in the mail. Please be sure to return all ballots in the self-addressed, stamped and sealed envelope by June 9 to the District Clerk at 50 Iroquois Drive, Salamanca, NY 14779. Ballots must be received by 5 p.m on June 9.
What's on the ballot?
- Board of Education Election: 1 open seat for election with Kerry J. John running unopposed
- Proposition #1: 2020-2021 Budget in the amount of $43,537,292.
- Proposition #2: Purchase of two parcels of real property and lease of Front Avenue property (70 Fern Ave and a portion of 413 Front Ave and lease of vacant Front Ave property).
The Special Meeting/Canvass Meeting/Annual Meeting will be held at 5 p.m. June 9 in the high school gym.
