It’s that time of year! On Monday, June 15, 2020, the Salamanca City CSD (SCCSD) will have an open hearing to review the 2020-2021 Title VI grant (formerly Title VII). This grant provides funding to the SCCSD based on the numbers of Native American students enrolled in SCCSD. Title VI funds many services and programs for Native American students and families. I am the Title VI Native American Program Coordinator and I oversee all Native American services and programs within the district. I work closely with the Seneca Nation, SCCSD administrators and teachers along with support staff to ensure that we are supporting our students effectively. We have a great team here at SCCSD & the Seneca Nation.
More information on our program can be found on the school website at www.salamancany.org Look for the Title VI information in “What’s New”. You can also go to ‘Resources’ or ‘Departments” and click on ‘Native American Services’. You will find ‘Title VI’ on the left. You can also check out my Teacher page under ‘Faculty’, go to ‘R’ and ‘Redeye, Michala – TOSA, NA Program Coordinator’. My Teacher page also links you to the other pages, the links are located on the left. Come and learn more about Title VI at SCCSD!!
