OM World Finals 2026

The High School Odyssey of the Mind (OM) team achieved an extraordinary accomplishment this season, earning 4th place out of 44 teams in Problem 3, Division 3 at the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals held at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.

Competing against some of the most creative and talented teams from around the world, our Warriors demonstrated exceptional innovation, teamwork, and dedication. Their impressive finish is the result of months of hard work, perseverance, and countless hours spent refining every aspect of their performance.

The journey began in October, when team members started developing and perfecting their solution for Problem 3. Throughout the season, students worked diligently on their script, set design, props, and performance elements while balancing the demands of academics and extracurricular activities. Their commitment to excellence was evident in every stage of competition, culminating in an outstanding showing on the international stage.

The team was guided by coaches Janette McClure and Stacey Clayson, whose leadership, encouragement, and support helped the students reach this remarkable achievement. Their dedication to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration played a significant role in the team's success.

Finishing fourth in the world is a tremendous honor and a testament to the talent, determination, and Warrior spirit of these students. The entire school community is incredibly proud of their accomplishments and the way they represented our school at the highest level of Odyssey of the Mind competition.

Congratulations to our High School Odyssey of the Mind team, Coach Janette McClur, and Coach Stacey Clayson on an unforgettable season and a truly outstanding achievement!
