Salamanca High School is hosting a virtual Financing Your College Education event for students in grades 10-12 and their families at 6 p.m. September 23.
The presentation will be led by Scott Ahrens from the New York State Department of Financial Services.
Links to the event will be available on the school website, Counseling Office Class Pages, and mailed home.
Also open to students are several virtual college visits. Links to the following tours will be emailed to students in grades 10-12:
September 10 – SUNY College at Brockport, 1:52 p.m.
September 16 – Hilbert College, 11:10 a.m.
September 21 – Lycoming College, 8:18 a.m.
September 22 – St. John Fisher College, 1:10 p.m.
October 6 – SUNY Fredonia, 10:29 a.m.
October 9 – Saint Mary’s College, 10:29 a.m.
The Counseling Office also reminds seniors and their parent/guardians that the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) opens on October 1. All families will be mailed information about the financial process.
