REMOTE LEARNING Computer

Good Evening Warrior Nation,

We are writing to share news that a student at Prospect and a student at Seneca Intermediate has tested positive for COVID-19.  We were informed of this earlier this evening.  Through our contact tracing efforts, we believe all students and adults who had contact with these students have been notified this evening.  We are unable to share any additional details regarding the students due to privacy laws.

We anticipate the Cattaraugus County Department of Health will be in contact with the school district tomorrow, Friday, November 20, with additional details.  In accordance with our safety and education plan, Salamanca Schools will remain on remote e-Learning instruction through December 2nd.  We anticipate hybrid students will return to campus on Thursday, December 3rd.  The district will continue to provide transportation to all off site programs such as Ellicottville CTE, Big Picture, and other special placements depending upon the specific locations protocol.

Please continue to monitor your health and those of your loved ones and to follow safety practices.  If you have any concerns or questions you can contact Mr. Ray Haley, Safety and Security Coordinator at 716-244-7299 or Dr. Mark Beehler, Deputy Superintendent at 716-289-3456 or Mr. Robert Breidenstein, Superintendent, at 716-220-2815.
