Salamanca City Central School District launched a redesigned version of its website and mobile app this week.

The revamped website at www.SalamancaNY.org offers a user-friendly experience with a clean and fresh design. The highlights of the site are news, live feed, and events sections integrated with social media that help the district better connect online with students, families, and the community.

The site comes with a built-in alert system that sends information to registered users through text messages, mobile notifications, and emails.

With the mobile app, users have quick and easy access to the district staff directory, news, events, cafeteria information, important documents, and more at their fingertips. Subscribers can also opt in to receive push notifications from the district or at the school level.

“The redesigned website and app offer noted improvements to our digital presence,” said Robert Breidenstein, district superintendent. “In addition to being fully ADA compliant, the new features will help us communicate, engage, and interact with our Warrior community. Visitors to our website and subscribers to our app will find important information more accessible, as well as a vibrant layout that is easy to navigate.”

Users can download the app by searching for “Salamanca Warriors” on Google Play on Android devices or the App Store on iPhone and Apple devices.

In building the website and app, the district partnered with Apptegy, a company that specializes in web and mobile solutions for school districts.
