Salamanca, NY — May 19, 2026 — The Salamanca community is invited to an exciting evening of live music, student performances, and high-energy entertainment at Rock the Polls, happening Tuesday, May 19th at Salamanca High School. This special event is FREE and open to the public, making it the perfect opportunity for families, students, and music lovers to come together and celebrate.
The event kicks off at 4:30 PM with performances by talented students from the Salamanca Music Department, showcasing a variety of rock solos and duets in an engaging open mic-style format.
At 6:00 PM, the stage comes alive with a headline performance by Nerds Gone Wild, Western New York’s premier party band and award-winning ‘80s and Retro show. Known for their electrifying stage presence and crowd-pleasing performances, Nerds Gone Wild will deliver an unforgettable set featuring hits from the New Wave and classic ‘80s eras.
The evening’s musical lineup also includes performances inspired by legendary artists such as Green Day, Guns N’ Roses, Bob Dylan, and The Rolling Stones, brought to life by local student musicians.
A special highlight of the night will be a Beatles tribute performance, featuring some of the region’s top musicians:

In addition, attendees will experience a powerful cultural performance by Seneca Native drummers, adding a meaningful and dynamic element to the event.
