The Salamanca City School District is thrilled to announce the launch of our eighth annual Summer STEAM and Adventure Camps. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) Camps are for students looking for a fun and creative summer experience that extends beyond the four walls of the traditional academic disciplines. Most camps are Monday-Thursday, with two, Friday only, camps. All camps are “hands-on” and may include physical activities and some field trips! Camps are for students in 5th-12th grade. Prospect students will not have a STEAM camp option this year.
Registration opens NOW. The cost is FREE for enrolled Salamanca students/district residents and $50 for non-district families (parents must transport participants). Space is limited. As of May 31st, transportation is not guaranteed. You will be notified if transportation can be provided if you register after May 31, 2025.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to STEAM Summer School Coordinators, Susan Schnaufer & Tim Schnaufer - sschnaufer@salamancany.org / tschnaufer1@salamancany.org
Please complete a separate form for each student! Please note grades levels. These are grade levels students will be in in the 25/26 school year!

🎼🎵🎶NEW this year! Summer Band Camp! 🎼🎵🎶
Why Summer Band? Get ready to improve your technique, tone quality, and musicianship with your friends! We will be playing fun music and also have several fun days such as twin day, brownie/cookie bake off day, and crazy sock day. Summer is a great time to take your skills to the next level. The instructor is Mona Lungershausen, a woodwind specialist who majored on oboe and enjoys teaching all band instruments.
This 4 week camp is perfect for middle school musicians (grades 5-8) of all skill levels who want to improve their playing, make new friends, and experience the joy of making music together.
The band will rehearse Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am-11am from July 14-August 6th. The final concert will be Wednesday August 6 at 10am. Lesson times are TBA. Optional group lessons are available (sign up below for group lessons).
All rehearsals are in the band room at the Salamanca High School located at 50 Iroquois Drive
