🎉 The first week of Summer STEAM Adventure Camps was a huge success! 🎉
Our Aquatics campers made a splash exploring the river, Alleghany State Park, and the Aquarium of Niagara 🐠🌊.
Art campers got creative with different mediums and took an inspiring trip to Griffis Sculpture Park 🎨🗿.
Design campers let their imaginations fly—literally—with paper airplanes, catapults, and tons of hands-on fun ✈️🔧!

Salamanca Schools has been informed by our student information management system, PowerSchool, that a potential cybersecurity incident occurred involving unauthorized access of some student and staff information. PowerSchool is a cloud based system used by 55 million students and 17,000 customers in 90 countries. PowerSchool has stated 'the incident is contained and we do not anticipate the data being shared or made public'. Salamanca Schools is working closely with the Western New York Regional Information Center and our local BOCES and will update our community as more information becomes available.

SCCSD is proud to offer Summer Swim Lessons. We will offer lessons on Monday - Thursday and will have two separate 3-week sessions.
Lessons will begin on July 11, 2022 and conclude August 18, 2022.
1st - 3 week session will be July 11-29, 2022
2nd - 3 week session will be August 1-18, 2022

SCCSD will be sending rapid COVID-19 test kits home with students on Thursday, February 17. Please check your elementary and intermediate school child(s) backpack.
Our request is students will test at home before returning following the mid-winter break vacation.
It is our intention to keep staff and children in school while limiting the spread of Covid. Please assist us in this effort to lower incidents of possible infection and exposure by testing your child(ren) prior to sending them back to us on February 28, 2022.
This is in response to Governor Kathy Hochul request to keep schools open.
