We kindly ask that you log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal and complete the NYS Digital Resources Survey for each student you have enrolled in the District.

What is the Digital Resources Survey?

The NYS Digital Resources Survey is a state-mandated survey issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED). It collects important information about:

  • Students’ access to computing devices (laptops, tablets, etc.)

  • Availability of reliable internet at home

  • Students’ digital literacy skills

This survey plays a vital role in helping school districts and the state understand and address the digital divide affecting K-12 students.

Why Your Participation Matters

Your responses will:

  • βœ… Promote Educational Equity: Ensure every student has the tools and skills for effective learning, both in and out of school.

  • βœ… Identify Needs: Help the District recognize where support is needed for internet or device access.

  • βœ… Inform Planning & Funding: Provide data to develop digital equity plans and apply for essential technology funding.

  • βœ… Support Continuous Learning: Guide efforts to ensure all students can engage in consistent learning, especially when remote learning is necessary.
