No Cell Phone

Salamanca Families:

In accordance with the Salamanca City Central School District Policy on the Use of Internet-Enabled Devices During the School Day, students are not permitted to have cell phones on their person during school hours.

All cell phones must be stored in a locker. Storing phones in backpacks, purses, or other personal items is not acceptable.

Consequences for Violations:

  • First Offense: The phone will be confiscated and held in the Main Office. It may be picked up by the student at the end of the school day.

  • Second & Third Offenses: The phone will be confiscated and must be picked up by a parent or guardian at a time determined by administration.

As we enter the new year, we will be reviewing this policy more deeply to ensure consistency and support a focused learning environment.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to discuss this policy with their child prior to returning to school so expectations are clear.
