Dear Warrior Nation
Earlier today Governor Cuomo provided some additional guidance regarding the reopening of schools across New York State. While we await written guidance, I believe it is appropriate to provide a summary of the governorβs comments.
* We should receive written confirmation by Monday, August 10 approving or requesting revisions to the July 31 Salamanca reopening plan.
* At least three parent centered and one staff centered forum will occur by August 21. Details about the time and format will be forthcoming.
* Schools will likely need to provide more guidance and formalize a process to have students and staff Covid tested.
Throughout this crisis the Salamanca community of students, parents, faculty and staff have risen to meet these unprecedented challenges. I am confident that this level of spirit and engagement will continue as we move towards our schools reopening. As planned, parents can expect individual contact beginning next week to better understand your needs and concerns.
Stay strong Warrior Nation,
Bob Breidenstein
Superintendent

Dear Warrior Nation,

We are asking each family / household in the Salamanca City Central School District to take a moment to let us know your thoughts on reopening. There are some yes / no questions along with free text β please let us know what you think - you are our most important partner in the health, safety, and education of each student that we serve, and it is our hope that we can work together over the coming weeks to observe these guidelines. We truly appreciate your cooperation during these very difficult times.
The survey link will be located on our District website and social media outlets.

The senior class typically gathers before commencement for a photo. We were not able to do that this year. However, we were able to get individual photos and work our magic in Photoshop. Special thanks to Mrs. Dry for her hard work editing all the photos!
