October 6th Grade Spotlight

Welcome to the monthly 6th Grade Science Spotlight monthly article. The purpose of this article is to highlight 6th grade students who constantly show that they are hard workers and complete their science assignments, are respectful to all, and have an overall STAR student personality.

Through these interviews, we are able to learn a little bit more about the students, and what makes our grade so awesome. This month I have chosen a great student to kick-off this article series. He is new to our class this school year. Everyone please welcome... Jaiden!

What is your name, and who is your homeroom teacher? 

My name is Jaiden Peters, and my homeroom teacher is Mrs. Shriver.

What are your favorite school specials? 

I like band where I play percussion, I like chorus, and PE.

What is your favorite school subject? 

I like math.

What are two things you like to do outside of school? 

I play Fortnite and Roblox on my Xbox and I also like to draw.

Do you have any pets? 

Yes! I have a dog, named Boomer, and he is a cock-a-poo. He doesnโ€™t always like meeting new people, but he loves me and anyone who visits my house regularly.

Do you have any brothers or sisters? 

Yes! I have three older brothers. Two graduated from Salamanca, and 1 is currently here in 8th grade- sometimes we play video games together.

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about you?! 

That I am very intelligent!

Favorite foods? 

I like pizza, and I also like grapes.

We are so happy to have you at Salamanca, where did you move from? 

From Ellicottville Central school.

Do you play any sports? 

Yes, I ski!

What is the farthest place you traveled? 

San Diego, California. There, we went to old downtown San Diego, saw the coast, and an old Military ship from World War 2 thatโ€™s now an old Museum!
